Mr. Narender Wadhwa has an extensive background in the energy sector, bringing over 29 years of experience to his new role as CEO of Bajaj Energy Limited (BEL), effective from July 1, 2024. He started his journey with Bajaj Energy Ltd. on May 17, 2013, and has progressively taken on significant responsibilities within the organization.
Before assuming the CEO position, Mr. Wadhwa served as Head of Operations at Bajaj Energy Ltd., where he was responsible for overseeing Operations, Maintenance, Strategic initiatives, and Steering Process/Efficiency Improvement and Innovation across 5 units of the company. This role equipped him with deep insights into the operational aspects and strategic direction of the organization.
Mr. Wadhwa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from R.E.C. Kurukshetra. His career began with NTPC and later included a tenure at Reliance Power, where he gained valuable experience
before joining Bajaj Energy Ltd. His expertise spans various domains including Operations, Maintenance Planning, Efficiency, Commissioning, and Operation Services. He is also certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management, and Energy Audit, highlighting his commitment to operational excellence and efficiency in the energy sector.
